About HMG

Made in Eindhoven, under one roof

At Park Forum in Eindhoven, 8 fully automatic pillow lines and 4 fully automatic duvet lines work under one roof — good for up to 15 million pillows and 2 million duvets a year, 100% made in the Netherlands.

01The factory

One building, one continuous line

Production, quality control, warehouse, dispatch and a showroom: at Park Forum in Eindhoven everything sits under one roof, in an energy-efficient building certified GPR 8.0.

Our factory is a highly automated manufacturing environment, designed for scale and efficiency. The departments are laid out in the order a product comes together: raw materials arrive on one side, the finished pillow or duvet leaves on the other.

And we keep investing. In 2025 we doubled our pillow capacity and installed three new duvet lines. The warehouse grew with them, with automated internal logistics (AGVs) and an advanced WMS.

02The process

Nine steps, from roll of fabric to lorry

Every product goes through the same nine steps, on increasingly automated lines. At each step we measure or record something — here are two of those figures per step.

  1. 01 · Goods in

First the fabric, then the filling

Fibres, fillings and ticking are checked on arrival and registered batch by batch, so that every batch can be traced. Then they go into production: the fibre through the fibre-opening systems, the fabric to the cutting table.

    GRS

  2. 02 · Cutting

    Cut to the millimetre

An automated cutting table with an oscillating knife cuts the panels from dozens of plies of fabric at once. For each order, the cutting plan is laid out to leave as little fabric over as possible.

    Cutting tolerance

  3. 03 · Sewing and quilting

Sewn shut, or quilted into chambers

Pillow casings are sewn all round, except for a filling opening. Duvets run over our fully automatic duvet lines, which quilt the top and bottom fabric into chambers so the filling stays in place.

  4. 04 · Filling

Filled by weight, not by feel

On our fully automatic pillow lines the fibre is opened, blown in and weighed — for duvets, chamber by chamber. A product is closed only once the weight is right.

  5. 05 · Quality control

    Scanned, measured and weighed

Every piece passes through a needle detector and is checked for size, weight, seams and shape. At final inspection we also take a sample from each batch according to AQL.

  6. 06 · Labelling

    Your brand, or ours

The product gets its woven label, band or insert card: under our own Mont Blanc brand, or as private label with your brand from label to packaging.

  7. 07 · Packing

    Shelf-ready or ship-ready

Pillows are roll-packed or vacuum-packed, duvets folded into a bag with a handle. Everything goes into outer cartons on pallets, packed the way your channel needs it.

  8. 08 · Warehouse

    In stock, ready to leave

Cartons and pallets are scanned and taken to their place by AGVs; our WMS knows where every pallet is. Core lines are kept in stock, so a repeat order need not mean a new production run.

05Quality management

Checked before it leaves the door

Quality management is built into every production step, not just the end of the line. That keeps quality stable, even at very large volumes.

  1. In-house quality control

Our own quality team checks every step of production, from raw material to pallet.

  2. Traceable batch by batch

Every batch can be traced back to its production and the raw materials it was made from.

  3. Consistent filling accuracy

Automated filling and weighing: every pillow and every duvet gets the filling that was agreed.

  4. Standardised packaging

Every order is packed the same way, so what arrives at your door is always the same.

  5. Compliant with EU regulations

Our products meet the European regulations that apply to bedding.

  6. Lab tests for multiple markets

Where a market sets its own requirements, we have our products tested against them in the laboratory.
